A little trick that I have learned as a mother with slightly hyperactive little boys is to have a few movies among your western party supplies. If things do happen to get just a bit too wild, you can make sure that the boys can go to the den and watch cowboy movies. This will fit in quite well with the whole theme of the western party, and will allow them a chance to calm down a little while you can gather your nerves!
