Are you a "Metro-sexual?" Hold your horses; I'm not labeling anyone. This is just one of those new-age buzz words that seem to be floating around like crazy. From what I've read it basically concerns a man who grooms himself rather meticulously, has a keen eye for fashion, and likes to receive manicures and pedicures. Of course this led me back to myself for some routine scrutiny. Of course I disregarded the nail treatments and fashion stuff rather quickly, since I'm into neither. I must admit that I'm T-shirts, jeans and Doc Martens all the way. However, when it comes to mens skin care products, I guess I take advantage of a few. How about yourself? Are you a contemporary male, who strives to look groomed for the ladies? It's really nothing to be ashamed of. From what I can see, it's what the women prefer.
What mens skin care products are sitting in your medicine cabinet? Okay, I'll go first. I can admit without shame that I'm totally into fine shaving products. I never waste time on the drugstore stuff. I prefer a Mekur double edged razor like our grandfathers used to appreciate. In addition I like to use the best creams like Jack Black Beard Lube, or Lab Series Maximum Comfort Shave Cream. These are amongst the finest mens skin care products if you ask me. That razor can take a terrible toll on your face if you don't lube up right first. Furthermore, I think that when it comes to mens skin care products, every modern day man should invest in a good moisturizer. Preferably one with an SPF or 15 if you can find it. I know Jack Black offers a good one. This will truly help your delicate mug battle the harsh elements and block out the sun's damaging rays. We all know that the sun can do a real number on our skin. So keep that face looking young and wrinkle-free with a fine moisturizer. Finally, when it comes to the epitome of mens skin care products, I feel that the aftershave takes the cake. Come on guys; there's surely no shame in purchasing a quality, fine smelling aftershave. It will really calm that razor burn and nourish that chin after a bout with the blade. Go ahead and slap on as much as you desire. If it smells wonderful, the ladies will surely dig it. Okay, so don't go too crazy, but you get the point.
