J.c. Pennys

J.C. Pennys is a retail giant that has stood the test of time. I remember visiting our local J.C. Pennys when I was a child. This was way back when stores like J.C. Pennys, Kaufmanns and Macy’s were not affiliated with a mall. These stores were originally housed in their very own building. When we would shop at J.C. Pennys, the trip involved going to only that store. Today, stores like Pennys are housed in busy malls with a lot of competition.

Many stores have not survived the emergence of such retail powers as Wal-Mart and Target. Many of the older retail stores were moved to the corners of shopping malls and were gradually faded into the woodwork. J.C. Pennys has not faded at all. The store continues to draw many shoppers, including me.

The appeal of the J.C. Pennys store is its consistent quality at reasonable prices. The J.C. Penny name is associated with value and dependability. The store has been able to appeal to generation after generation of shoppers while maintaining its core clientele, those of us who have been shopping there since the 1970’s.

Many teens sneer at gift cards from most retail stores that Grandma chooses. However, a gift card from J.C. Pennys is received with joy by people of all ages. The store offers items for babies, children and teens. It also offers household items for parents and grandparents. The selection is excellent. The quality is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable.

J.C. Pennys also offers amazing offers during their seasonal sales. You can buy merchandise at seventy to eighty percent off the retail price during one of J.C. Pennys’ sales. Many of the deals are more affordable than the ones you find at retail giants like Wal-Mart and the quality and craftsmanship is often superior as well. I used to drive over fifty miles to visit the nearest outlet mall, but I have found that I can save a lot of time and money by visiting my local J.C. Pennys during its seasonal sales.

J.C. Pennys is a store that will continue to make its customers happy. The store offers catalogue shopping and online shopping as well. I found a leather couch in J.C. Pennys online store. The couch was exactly what I wanted but it was at a fraction of the price listed in other stores. When a J.C. Penny sale comes your way don’t miss it. You will find the highest quality at the most reasonable prices.
