Who can survive without the Internet? Maybe ten years ago you would have laughed at this question. I know I would have. I never even used it for anything. You couldn't get me to use a computer for nothing. Why would I want to? Oh little did I know. Today the Internet is a crucial part of our world in every way. Billions of people count on these electronic wonders to get specific jobs done, and messages delivered. We all love to surf through cyberspace and learn anything we please. Who'd have ever thought this would be possible one day? Basically, now that we all have our handy little notebook computers, we'd have a hard time living without them. They just make life too easy. When you hop online, what Internet service provider are you using? What do they offer and how is your connection? This is a common concern these days.
Remember the dial-up days? This should actually be an era of its own. You have the 70's, the 80's, and the 90's; now, somewhere in there, you should fit the dial-up days. It could make a good VH1 special. That horrific noise alone would get the memories going. While at the time we thought that dial-up was the bomb, we now look back with a slight ignorance in our eyes. The day I finally switched to a cable Internet service provider, I was dumbfounded. I was like the caveman who discovered fire. Life as we knew it was about to change.
