Request a room on a higher floor and also a floor that doesn’t have an ice or soda machine as those tend to have more traffic.
When you reserve an extended stay hotel room or suite also inquire about the cancellation policy. Some hotel chains will charge you a substantial penalty if you have to check out early even if it’s for an emergency. You’ll want to be certain of every charge you are facing before you sign an agreement to rent the room.
