Desktop News Ticker
A desktop news ticker automatically makes your computer desktop feel like Times Square. I know it is silly, but as an executive who is in charge of a large department in a rather successful corporation, I find that I like to keep up on current events. The only problem is that I really very rarely have time to read the newspaper. Oh sure, I get to listen to morning radio, and I do do that every morning, but I've always been driven to success. A half an hour of radio news on the way to work might be enough for some people to feel connected to the world, but for me it barely even begins to make me feel in touch. I mean, you can tell right off the bat that it is going to give you all the news that you need to feel in tune with what is going on around you, even if you only read the headlines on the desktop news ticker. Why else would they call it “fair and balanced reporting” if it was not just that? And the headlines on the desktop news ticker are usually descriptive enough so that, if you are extremely busy as I am, you can get by without reading the articles at all, and still know what is going on around you. It is some brilliant innovation, I must say.
