You can also make your own collage picture frames. All you need is a frame of your choice and a mat. You’ll want to purchase a plain mat that you can cut-out on your own. Many people use this idea when they are creating a special craft project that includes photographs as well as dried flowers or perhaps a wedding invitation or birth announcement.
Although many people prefer a white or off-white color for the mat inside the frame, there isn’t any right or wrong color. Consider a blue mat for a collage of baby boy pictures or a yellow mat to display your vacation images. It’s truly a matter of personal preference.
One of the most appealing things about collage picture frames is that you can remove the pictures and replace them with others. This means that the frame will last you for years.
